Marriage is one of the most beautiful relation ships on the earth. Like in all relation ships, problems are possible for in marriage too. Only thing is that you have to adjust with new atmosphere because you may be from a different culture. The most important factors in any relationship are trust and respect and hence these are the reasons for most problems too. People simply can’t love somebody who they don’t respect. In the same manner it’s difficult for somebody to love a person that doesn’t respect them. So lack of respect for each other is a big problem in a marriage.
Psychologically, self-centeredness can cut down the happy thread of marriages. Marriage is for sharing and not for the selfishness of one partner. Each one has their own personality and there is no right to any one to impose his or her character on partner.
A selfish mind is the most disgusting thing in the world. We can see from history that all destructions are caused by the selfish mind of some one or groups. This is apt for any relation ship, especially in marriage.
If you really love your spouse, you will put your spouse’s interest above your interests. If you identify yourself with your spouse, you will only try to make him or her happy. You will show real love by caring them. You will eliminate self-centeredness totally from your life.
Another major marriage problem relates to neglect. Neglect can take the life and flavor out of a relationship. You might have been the ideal couples the world has ever seen before marriage and in the first few months or years after it. Do you remember the times when you would talk for hours on-end, you would somehow find time in your busy schedule, and you would remember the birthdays and shower your partner with gifts and surprises with meticulous planning. You were taking great attention in every minute detail of your dealings with your would-be.
Sharing and caring is the key. Not being vocal and friendly with your partner can make them hesitant and distant and distance is a big evil in a marriage. Also, when you share your life and thoughts with your partner it makes them feel empowered and important.
Marriage can be compared to a tender sapling. It is delicate; therefore you have to handle it with extra care. You have to constantly nurture it. If you neglect it, it will wilt, shrivel and finally die. Well, your marriage is not to be ended in such a fate; if you give enough care with the biggest marriage problems, you will let grow the plant to a big tree.
